Seeking Director for small preschool
Qualifications-
At least two years experience in a licensed preschool as assistant director or director (preferably in the state of Texas)
Directors Certification (or ability to obtain in the near future)
Must have CPR (or ability to obtain in the near future)
Leadership Experience (professional and/or academic)
Mature and Professional
Strong Communication Skills and Computer literate
Customer Service Oriented
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education Practices and Texas minimum Standards regulations
Familiar with Texas Rising Star preferred
Commitment to Children and Families
Positive Attitude, Passion and Tenacity and Critical Thinking Skills
Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children.
Ability to work more than 40 hours as needed.
Ability to lift more than 40 lbs if needed.
Responsibilities-
Effectively operates and manages all aspects of a child care school, to include human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control and facility management.
Collaborate with leadership to maintain optimal day to day operations of the campus.
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and nurturing learning environment while promoting positive interactions with children to support play, exploration, and learning opportunities.
Supervising and lead a team of passionate, committed teachers and educators.
Maintaining compliance with State Minimum Standards Rules, State and Federal Agencies, and Center policies.
Responsible for the daily operation of the Center; communication with parents, staff, and all government agencies.
Manage curriculum; responsible for overall image of the Center including cleanliness including ordering or supplies.
Maintaining children’s records, staff records and scheduling.
Processing leads, conducting tours, and ensuring the facility exceeds standards.
