Job Summary:
Join Five Star Concrete LLC as an Accounting Clerk and be a key player in our accounting department. This position is centered around managing accounting functions such as inputting and tracking material tickets, processing Accounts Payable, and maintaining an accurate materials inventory. We are looking for candidates who are meticulous and can demonstrate experience in the construction, trucking, or transportation industries.
Responsibilities:
- Input and track material tickets.
- Manage Accounts Payable including material receipts, invoice verification, and monthly statement reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly Credit Card Expense Reports.
- Maintain precise materials inventory quantities and landed costs.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in accounting within the construction, trucking, or transportation sectors would be preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is an asset.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Effective typing, ten key, and data entry skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; further education or certifications in accounting or related fields are beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards.
