This position will be the executive leader of OnHand, a for-profit joint venture Group Purchasing Organization. The position will be responsible for all operations related to recruitment and retention of affiliates as well as contracting efforts in consultation with Premier, the minority partner in the joint venture. OnHand represents (as of 12/31/2024) over 4,000 affiliates across all 50 states, more than $4B in contracted purchasing volume, and over $6M in revenue. Current forecasts suggest that these numbers will continue to grow significantly as Premier consolidates its aggregation sponsors.The VP President OnHand has the following duties and responsibilities:Business Development· Recruit new affiliates and cultivate relationships at the highest level of member organizations.· Meet or exceed annual revenue targets whilst keeping the sales pipeline full for team to pursue.Contract Generation· Identify, in consultation with Premier and in accordance with the operating agreement, opportunities for fee-bearing agreements.· Coordinate and lead RFP efforts with Texas Health and member teams to produce an attractive portfolio of contracts specific to OnHand.Account Management· Ensure that ‘same store’ revenue is managed and determine distinct action plans for any members falling short on contract compliance and/or contract penetration.· Solicit feedback on member need and produce innovative solutions based on feedback.Resource Management· Lead team and create a high-performing environment. Identify areas for improvement and manage to an income statement.· Create budgets and report performance to joint venture board.Industry involvement· Be the face of the joint venture at various industry events.· Prepare marketing material and campaigns to increase visibility of the joint venture.
