Retrieval Records Clerk PRNWe’re looking for a qualified Retrieval Records Clerk PRN like you to join our Texas Health family.Work location: Texas Health Allen - 1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013Work hours: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am, Sunday – Thursday (generally about 1-2 hours per night)HIMS Records Management highlights:

Evening hours that are a bit flexible – 5 to 8 hrs. per week in the evenings between 4:00 pm to midnight
Here’s What you Need
High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED
6 months of healthcare office setting, or previous customer service experience REQUIRED
Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer and office equipment skills. Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
What You will DoCollects prepared medical records/documents for courier collection:
Retrieves point of care records of discharged patients from assigned patient care areas.
Completes Scan Alert and posts to charts for records retrieved at the point of care.
Document/Record preparation and delivery:
Prepares collected medical records/documents for courier collection.
Measures and records number of inches collected utilizing reporting tool.
Places batches in appropriate collection bin/bag and secures with locking tags or lock.
Delivers bin/bag to designed area for courier collection.
Transports empty bin/bag left by courier to the assigned area.
Assists internal and external customers as needed:
Interacts with clinical areas to retrieve point of care documents and records of discharged patients.
Interacts with hospital staff in courier collection areas.
