High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Completion of Catholic Charities Community Interpreting program or any equivalent interpreter qualifying program (PREFERRED)
Batchelor's Degree in Interpretation and Translation, Languages or Linguistics (PREFERRED)
Two years of work experience in language interpretation or bilingual customer/patient experience in a hospital or healthcare facility (REQUIRED)
One year of work experience as a medical interpreter in a hospital or healthcare facility or One year of related work experience in a medical interpretation and Baccalaureate or higher degree in interpretation or translation (REQUIRED)
Bilingual English/Spanish (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

National Professional Certification credentials, such as CCHI Certified Healthcare Interpreter (AHI-CHI) upon Hire (PREFERRED)
National Professional Certification credentials, such as CCHI Certified Healthcare Interpreter (AHI-CHI) within 2 years (REQUIRED)
Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task and juggle phone calls, email requests and Vocera calls simultaneously (PREFERRED)
Reliable Transportation (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
