Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionAs a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating B-Axis lathes and 5-Axis CNC Mill-Turn machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling, and part complete operations. You will optimize set-up times, maximize machine utilization, and ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.Responsibilities

Set up and operate B-Axis lathes and 5-Axis CNC Mill-Turn machines.

Optimize set-up times and maximize machine utilization.

Read blueprints and route instructions to understand task specifications.

Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.

Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments.

Set up CNC equipment to complete full cycles and produce both high and low volumes of parts.

Improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with high precision.

Follow in-process part inspection procedures and notify Supervisor/Lead of any non-conformances.

Communicate with managers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.

Essential Skills

5+ years operating CNC Mill and Lathe machines in a manufacturing environment, including performing set-ups.

Experience with 5-axis machines.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and using calipers and gauges.

Experience with programming, including G Code.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with brands such as Brother, Doosan, Takumi, and Siemens is a plus but not required.
