We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab like you to join our Texas Health family.WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Allen1105 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013WORK HOURS : Full Time; 40 Hours; 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday – Friday with rotating day off; On Call Required – Must live within a 30-minute drive for on call requirements.CATH LAB DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:If you’re looking for robotic and minimally invasive surgery, orthopedic and spine services, or comprehensive women and infant’s care, we’ve got it. Plus, we’re an Accredited Chest Pain Center and STEMI receiving facility. Our 500+ physicians’ practice in more than 25 specialties.HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:· Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.· Other – CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.· 1 year experience as a registered nurse or completion of RN residency program.· 1-year recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN strongly preferred.· CVRN or CRRN highly preferred· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required and· PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required.· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.WHAT YOU WILL DO:· Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs.· Mutual Problem Solving - Professional behaviors that help patients and families understand how to confront, learn about, and think about their health and illness; involves a reciprocal, shared approach with resulting decisions acceptable to involved parties.· Teamwork "Individuals caring for individuals, together."· Shared Decision Making - Actively participates in the Shared Governance model at unit, entity, and/or system level.· Professional Development - A.
