Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Allen, Texas. This role involves managing and processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department.Responsibilities: Efficiently process and verify invoices, adhering to established procedures. Maintain and update vendor records as necessary. Conduct diligent research to resolve any vendor inquiries. Assist with closing activities at the end of each month. Provide crucial administrative support to the accounting department. Set up new vendors in the system as needed. Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Code invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization. Manage data entry tasks related to accounts payable.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Coding Invoices Proficient in Data Entry Experience in Invoice Processing Proficient in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of QuickBooks Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail High degree of familiarity with financial data analysis and reporting techniques.
