AECOM is leading the Remediation Plan Design & Support Services for the Faro Mine Remediation Project (FMRP; the Project) and is seeking a team-oriented Community Liaison for part-time work on the Project. This position is based in Ross River, YT to support community outreach and engagement.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assist the AECOM Faro Mine Remediation TeamPromote celebration and visibility of Kaska Dena culture, traditions, and ways within the AECOM team. Assist with identifying and delivering community outreach and engagement initiatives. Attend Project meetings, as needed/directed, including producing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes and maintaining a communication log.Support coordination of AECOM attendance at local community events, and/or attend local community events on behalf of AECOM.Post notifications of AECOM and FMRP Design Team initiatives, employment, training, and contracting opportunities around the community, and support recruitment activities.Maintain up-to-date lists of family and mental health resources for local AECOM staff and contractors.
