MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager/PVCA
Board, for the overall maintenance and up-keep of the common areas and infrastructure of
Condo complex.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
1) Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting, and roof repairs
2) Repairing and treating structures such as outside gates, walls and building exteriors.
3) Trash collection and removal.
4) Grounds maintenance, debris pick-up, sweeping and walkway maintenance.
5) Under direction of the Property manager may at times be responsible for 24 hour
emergency maintenance.
6) Pool and Pool area maintenance and upkeep.
7) Become familiar with the Declarations and By-Laws (Common Area Maintenance)
and Rule and Regulations
8) Observe and report immediately any unusual conditions to the Property Manager, or
Board Member.
Education/Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Carpentry Knowledge and experience
Light Electrical knowledge and experience
Plumbing experience preferred
Pool Maintenance experience preferred
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and
cooperative working relationships.
Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and
fellow employees.
Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation Required
