Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Property Manager/PVCA board, Maintenance Laborer will be responsible to assist in the overall maintenance and upkeep of the common areas and infrastructure of the Condo complex.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
1) Daily trash collection and removal
2) Grounds maintenance, debris pick-up, sweeping and walkway/parking lot maintenance.
3) Assist in Pool and pool area upkeep and maintenance
4) Assist maintenance team with their projects, taking direction from lead person on the project or the Property Manager.
5) Supply maintenance team members with required tools/equipment as necessary, preparing job site for work. Cleaning up job site and returning tools to their proper storage locations in the maintenance building.
6) Maintain maintenance building, organizing and putting tools in their proper location.
7) Preform necessary janitorial work for office and maintenance buildings and lavatories.
8) Observe and report immediately any unusual conditions to the Property Manager or Board Member.
Education/Qualification:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 3 years laborer experience Required
- Carpentry labor experience Required
- Painting labor experience Required
- Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation Required
