Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is looking for a Human Resources Manager.
The Human Resources Manager will provide hands-on Human Resources support to all departments of Bolongo Bay Beach Resort as well as offer support to the Accounting Department. This includes responsibility for hiring, benefit administration, training, compliance with Federal and Local laws, wage and salary administration, employee relations and conflict resolution.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Departmental Training and Recruiting
Prepare, extend, and negotiate employment offers with collaboration and input from the management team
Prepare and audit Payroll as well as provide quarterly tax information
Provide counsel, assistance, and problem-resolution services to employees and all levels of management guided by company's policies, labor-law legislation, and local and federal agency requirements
Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints
Advise managers on career development, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions
Benefit Administration and enrollment
Employment Law and Policy Compliance as well as compliance with OSHA
Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
Represents the company for any unemployment claims
Point of contact for work injuries and safety related issues as they relate to worker's compensation or disability claims
Complete EDC reports and comply with program requirements
Requirements
BA or BS Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
Minimum of 5 years of related professional HR experience
Experience working in the Hospitality Industry highly preferred
Ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality
Solid analytical skills and understanding of Accounting, Quickbooks and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent follow through, judgment, and common sense. "Make it happen" attitude.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and changing priorities
