Occupational therapist needed for multi-disciplinary clinic in Red Hook, St. Thomas. This is a wonderful opportunity for an OT to set up an independent practice under the holistic umbrella of Synergy Fitness & Wellness Center.
The registered occupational therapist will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and implement treatment to patients with orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal deficits, neurological impairments and be able to provide post-surgical care. He/She will use appropriate diagnostic tools, interpret data and develop treatment plans according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. He/She will adhere to discipline-specific policies and procedures as well as professional/practice standards. The OT will consistently demonstrate a courteous and compassionate demeanor to all clients and their families.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Highly effective interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills required to work with clients, caregivers, therapists and administrative staff to successfully and to document patient progress, quality assurance activities, and other required information. Team player required!
