Don't continue unless you have real bar experience. Fine dining, catering, coffee shops, pizza delivery, etc doesn't count.
We are looking for Bartender/Assistant Manager. Ideally a soon. We are highly ranked on TripAdvisor and it's mainly from the great staff. The bar has a dive atmosphere and is on on the water. We are the only craft beer bar on island, good bar food, bougie-ish cocktails, pour your own happy hour SXM is reasonably priced and easy to get around. We have a small staff and typically run one at the bar, one to two on the floor, and one in the kitchen so you need to be able to handle stress and hustle. You would typically work 5-6 shifts a week with plenty of time off to explore. This isn't a place to get rich but you can have a great life. You must have current experience, not you used to wait tables in college. Management experience is great but not required. You would primarily work the FOH but would have side duties helping the owner get things done. You should be able to hustle, chat up the punters, keep your shit straight, be reliable, and not be too much of a drunk. For the right person this could turn into an opportunity for ownership.
