ISLA Cantina Mexicana is a fun & energetic new restaurant opening in St Thomas! Our gorgeous 90-seat restaurant and indoor - outdoor bar is located on the waterfront at Yacht Haven Grande, serving authentic Mexican cuisine that beautifully represents the vast culinary traditions of various regions of Mexico.
Specific Position Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in a culinary position in a Mexican restaurant.
· Degree or certification from an accredited culinary program preferred.
· Ability to fluently read, write and understand English.
· Must possess knowledge of all aspects of running a kitchen, including food costing, budgeting, taking inventory, forecasting, ordering and receiving, staff management and development.
· Must have full working knowledge of POS system.
