Responsible for ensuring that all the Zipline guests have a safe, informative and exhilarating experience while they move through the zip line course. Applicants should have a personal commitment to professionalism, physical fitness, safety, excellent customer service and FUN. We are looking for customer service experience, preferably in recreation/tourism setting.
The Guide will be responsible for all personal safety gear (PSG)-helmets, harnesses, trolleys and carabiners; Keep the gear clean, safe, organized and maintained to industry standards; Instruct guests on how to use the gear and assist them with properly donning each item; Collect PSG at the end of a tour and insure PSG has been properly stored; Keeping trails, roads, platforms and grounds clean, safe, organized and maintained. The Guide will be trained and certified to ACCT safety standards and will be required to perform these skills in case of incidents and assist in high angle rescue if necessary; Will have the most contact with guests and therefore is expected to be a good communicator and ambassador of TLE.
Physical requirements: Have physical ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs and carry it a distance of 50 feet or more; Be able to hike, climb, and rappel to and from high altitudes, must not be afraid of heights; possess full range of overhead arm motions, have full hand dexterity, have strong upper body to pull self; and willing to work, at times, long days if required.
