We are seeking a highly skilled senior Active Directory Systems Admin to administer, support and manage existing AD infrastructure deployments & functions. With the ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with users as well as other technology groups in a complex and highly governed environment. Your role will also involve:Maintenance and enhancement of our current infrastructure, evaluating new technologies and making/implementing recommendations to improve operational efficiencies;Managing problems and requests in line with the ITIL framework by utilising customised in-house toolsets;Providing a minimum of tier 3 infrastructure and application support;Project implementation and working with both the business IT teams & subject matter experts;Developing and deploying solutions as part of projects or initiatives according to organisation standards;Producing and maintaining technical system documentation.You will be working in one of Australia’s largest and most complex IT environments, delivering solutions and integrating state-of-the-art commercial technologies to strengthen the security posture for system networks.Partnered with Defence’s Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG), you will be responsible for the ongoing support and uplift of two large classified networks, with a focus on:·         Building and operating on premise platform solutions;·         Delivering software and hosting requirements;·         Integration with commercial cloud providers;·         A commitment to evergreen IT and future automation;·         Working with local and international vendors;·         Delivering best-practice end user environments and IT infrastructure; and·         Exposure to a comprehensive range of products, services and cutting-edge cyber security.These roles require successful applicants to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain a CoA clearance.
