Senior Electrical Engineer

AECOM has an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings and Places team in Canberra office.The role is ideal for a values driven experienced engineer with a strong technical background with an interest in developing detailed design solutions and is responsible for the delivery of a range of exciting electrical engineering projects which cover a diverse range of the construction sector including Data Centres, Defence, Commercial, Education and Health.What will a day in this role look like:Work effectively within a team of multi-disciplinary engineers on a range of projects, using your technical expertise to drive quality through review of design calculations, specifications and drawings.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across our expansive multi-disciplinary engineering team to provide technical advice on some community and place making defining projects.Use your experience on building services projects as an Electrical designer, to prepare technical design that is high-quality and cost-effective project delivery on health, defence, government, transport and other building projects across ANZLead Electrical design and project delivery for our major client projects, including the technical review of projects and management of small project teams, while also providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers within the business when preparing technical design documentation.
