Leidos is growing fast. We're looking for Project Managers who are prepared to be hands on and drive results.We have openings for ICT and Infrastructure Project Managerswho offerdemonstrated experience in managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.

We are looking for thosewho understands federal government / Defence from a Project delivery perspective, ideally who haveworked on either transformation or sustainment projects.

We believe in creating great project experiences that are measured by the satisfaction of our clients aswell as the traditional targets of time and cost.

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

  • Coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and update project artefacts as required including PMP, schedule, risk and issues registers, and communication plans etc.
  • Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Manage dependencies that are being delivered by other ICT providers.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end-users and management.
  • Participate in budget development and evaluating how the project plan changes impact cost and schedule.

Qualifications

About you and What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager,delivering end to end projects and all associated artefacts;
  • Strong grasp on risk management and project remediation;
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and juggling the complexity of managing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrates a relationship management style that is consultative and attuned to the needs and expectations of the customer;
  • Formal qualification in Project Management (Agile, PMP, Prince2 Practitioner) and/or Professional membership would be desirable.

Due to the nature of the work, this role will require applicants to be Australian Citizens with a current Baseline or NV-1 clearance.
