The purpose of the Food Runner position is to present, carry, and run food, as well as clear plates by restaurant standards. Verbally provides an accurate description of various menu items and courses to Guests. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Presents, carries, and runs food by restaurant standardsProvides accurate descriptions of menu items and coursesClears plates from tablesPrepares and serves coffee and tea as needed Must comply with all company policies and procedures.Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in a Food & Beverage Service preferredExperience related to dealing with the general public preferred LANGUAGE SKILLSMust have excellent verbal communication skillsMust be able to communicate with guests, team members, and managers effectively MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic knowledge and understanding of math REASONING ABILITYMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals  PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand on feet for an extended periodMust be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely WORK ENVIRONMENTDining Room, Bar, and Kitchen areas4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property
