Responsibilities
A Forklift Driver/Material Handler is responsible for operating material handling equipment (forklift) to receive, store and distribute to and from trucks material, parts and supplies.
Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift) to maneuver racks, containers, pallets and crates.
Essential Functions
Move, locate, relocate, load, unload and stack material in assigned area
Perform routine daily equipment inspections and escalate issues
Gather finished orders for movement to outbound shipping area
Ensure product is labeled and free of damages, overages and shortages
Accurately complete all related paperwork
Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Observe and comply with all safety procedures and guidelines
Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are properly stacked and secure
Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc.
Perform all other duties as assigned

This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures.
