EM Collision Repair, Inc. is a family owned and operated full service body shop, operating in Bristol, TN for over 20 years. We are a direct repair facility for several major insurance companies and hold an I-CAR Gold class certification. EM Collision Repair, Inc. currently has an opening for an experienced Auto Body Technician.
Technicians require the following knowledge:
The methods, materials, tools, equipment and practices of the auto body repair trade
The occupational hazards and safety precautions of the auto body repair trade
The basic methods, materials, tools and practices of the automotive mechanic trade
Technicians require the following skills:
The use and care of tools and equipment required in their auto body repair trade
The use of electric, gas or other welding and brazing equipment
The use of frame straightening and aligning equipment
Technicians must have the ability to:
Align or replace damaged parts according to manufacturers' specification
Follow oral and written instructions and/or prepare list of material parts needed for repair
Understand the job-related occupational hazards and safety precautions of the auto repair trade
Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in a reputable repair shop preferred
Additional certifications and I-CAR classes preferred
Must provide own basic tools
Must provide and maintain a valid driver license
Must provide quality business references
