We are always looking for friendly, compassionate caregivers. If you are an experienced caregiver or just enjoy helping others, we would love to speak with you.
Our team includes mature, active women and men who have a passion for helping others. Your caring attitude and ability to relate to the challenges posed by aging are most important. We take our time getting to know our caregivers through a careful interviewing process, background check, and personality evaluation.
We offer:
Starting wage of $13-14 per hour
Training for newly hired team members- NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Flexible schedules from a few hours per week up to 35+ hours per week
Continuing education opportunities and fun networking/social events
An interesting and diverse client base
A friendly group of peers to work with
Minimum requirements:
Older adult with 40+ years of life experience
TBI Fingerprint Background Check prior to first day of employment
Driver's license and insured auto (our clients are not accessible by public transportation)
Cell phone
Personal email account and ability to send/receive emails
Conversational English fluency
Weekend availability a plus (in addition to weekdays)
Live preferably in Kingsport, Johnson City or Bristol for easy access to our clients
As a Caregiver with Seniors Helping Seniors Tri-Cities, your duties would be non-medical and may include light housework or yardwork, meal preparation, medication reminders, driving to and from doctor's appointments and errands, shopping, and in some cases assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
