JOB SUMMARYThe Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assignedESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed
Clean windows and glass doors
Change of all filters for HVAC as required
Prepare classrooms for incoming classes; remove or rearrange furniture for events or classes, as needed
Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
Make ready all classrooms, studios, dorm as needed
On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7
Oversee service that provides trash removal and cleaning of dorms at end of school year
Maintain exterior property, including snow removal
Assist with all show installs/removals
Oversee daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms.
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of all commonly used hand and power tools
Practical knowledge of general contracting principles
Certifications in HVAC, electrical work, construction, and similar are highly desired
Must be available to work flexible hours
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Valid drivers license or ability to obtain such within 90 days
Eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF)
Willing to work in an environment that requires a Safety First attitude. Must obey all Safety, Health and Environmental rules/regulations prescribed by regulatory agencies that are incorporated into company policy
Ability read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
