Payroll / Tax Onboarding

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Payroll Clerk in Stanton, Tennessee. This role is within the accounting/ HR industry and involves managing confidential deposit, payroll and tax information, as well as assisting in employee onboarding sessions. You will also be responsible for assisting new hires with their employee packages and ensuring compliance with E-Verify procedures.Responsibilities: Accurate entry of personal, payroll, and tax information in accounting software. Conducting daily onboarding sessions for new employees. Assisting new hires with queries regarding their employee packages. Facilitating the completion of tax forms and direct deposit forms. Managing I9's and ensuring compliance with E-Verify procedures. Utilizing accounting software systems for various accounting functions.
