Job DescriptionAn employer is looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Project Engineer with a strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to support a retooling manufacturing equipment project. The role involves being onsite to inspect duct work, piping, sheet metal, electrical, etc. and comparing actual installations with drawings, and submitting detailed reports. The candidate will perform moderate Excel work for calculations and must be proficient in reading and interpreting PDF drawings. They will follow daily tasks and directions, ensuring that measurements and installations match the drawings. This individual will need to be collaborative to effectively communicate with project managers and estimators, especially during meetings.
