Job LocationUSA, Selmer, TNJob Posting TitleField Quality EngineerThe ChallengeThe Field Quality Engineer serves as the Product Quality liaison between the Plant and the Field. The FQE drives quick response to the issue awareness and resolution to resolve and prevent quality issues in the field. The FQE is our primary contact between the factory, our internal Customers and External Customers for issue resolution in regards to Manufacturing Quality.What you will DoEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Track and communicate overall performance of the product in the field by measuring Concessions, Damage, Warranty and Insurance by subsystem/area.

Analyze trends and work with Quality Leaders/Manufacturing Leadership to provide detailed data, parts, units to understand root cause and corrective actions.

Facilitate the Communication of Customer Concerns, Issues, and trends to all functions, including the shop floor.

Analyze SCR/PQR data daily and COQ data weekly. Escalate issues as necessary. Track issue resolution and verify effectiveness.

Run and monitor data through Hazard Plots.

Monitor Service Calls after issue resolution to verify issues were resolved.

Own Field Data Collection, Analysis and Communication to Quality & Mfg. Teams.

Understanding of all Product Quality including CAT, CUT, EOLI, etc. Analyze data & communicate issues/trends to the Quality & Mfg. Teams

Develop & maintain Case Base Reasoning for Save the Call. Own Save the Call performance, CBR & Call Taker Training to improve Save Rates. Develop content for Customer Education videos and web based information.

Manage all Quality Holds from issue to resolution. Define and carry out timely resolution.

Reconcile data between Quality Hold and Product Deployment systems.

Communicate status of Quality Holds weekly to Product Management, Distribution & Quality

Define efficient Quality Rework procedures. Coordinate resources and equipment & execute reworks.

Develop and gain approval of rework plans.

Coordinate actions/repairs in ADCs, containment in plant.

Key liaison for factory contact with Field Service Techs, TAG and Customer Relations on issues related to our products. Assists with the creation and implementation of Service Bulletins.

Demonstrated Project Leader for ISO9001 certification of a high/low volume with high/low mix manufacturing and lean assembly plants.

What you need to SucceedRequirements :

4-year College Graduate

Experience in manufacturing quality environment, including experience with ISO quality procedures.

High initiative, self-starter, proactive, dedicated, results oriented, a Team Player.

Skilled in various measurement and gauging techniques

Ability to prioritize and drive multiple programs

Excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to speak with affluent Monogram consumers)

Advanced computer skills – Power Point, Excel, MS Word, GE Systems, etc.

Desired :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Lean Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience

Green or Black Belt in Manufacturing
