Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort our care receivers home.SHS empowers seniors to continue to live independent lives by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.Qualifications:
Enjoy working with our senior population
Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
Understand the importance of our services to our seniors

High level of emotional intelligence
Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed
Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:
Provide Companionship
Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc
Shopping and Errands
Meal Preparation
Medication Reminders
Pet Care Light Yard Work
Light Handyman Services
Overnight Supervision
Incidental Transportation to doctors appointments, family or their favorite restaurant
Personal Care Duties may include:
Assist with Dressing
Assist with Feeding
Assist with Showering / Bathing
Mobility Assistance
Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
Memory Care
Other Responsibilities:
Arrive on Time for all Services
Maintain documentation of all services provided on your Time-sheet and the ClearCare Caregiver Tool
Record and report changes in the clients physical condition, behavior or appearance to our office staff
Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
Submit all Weekly Time-sheets by Monday at 12 noon for the previous week
