Established religious organization seeks Administrative Director to manage front office staff and coordinate building upkeep and general maintenance. A good candidate will be self-motivated, highly conscientious, detail oriented, have strong communication and technical skills, and function well in a team environment.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all office operations and procedures.

Schedule and supervise office and building staff.

Monitor the cleanliness of the building.

Manage relationship and contract negotiations with vendor partners. Coordinate and supervise various vendors with best efforts to adhere to the budget.

Manage maintenance orders, recognize building deficiencies, and needed scheduling of repairs to plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.

Supervise the answering of incoming calls, providing general information, screening, and directing calls to appropriate associates.

Assist in the management and oversight of external communication platforms (social media, e-mail, bulletin, website, etc.).

Coordinate and supervise ordering of office supplies and place orders as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Management/supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capacity, including the ability to mentor, influence and motivate others.

Proven experience as an Administrative Manager or in a similar role

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, Adobe Acrobat Suite with strong technical skills embracing ever-changing technology.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can clearly and concisely compose, proofread, and edit documents such as letters, memos, email, etc.

Should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional organizational and time management skills which help you prioritize and manage multiple projects with timelines even through frequent interruptions and changing deadlines.

Ability to use independent judgement and prioritization to skillfully complete a wide variety of administrative tasks.
