The ideal schedule is Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The ideal candidate also has flexibility for weekend help a couple times a month. We are
offering $35-$45/hr DOE with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. They offer a health
insurance stipend and 15 days of PTO/sick days. PTO is preferred for family travel. They are
looking for someone with a minimum of 3+ years of experience. Candidates must also be
CPR/First Aid Certified and willing to sign an NDA.
Description:
A family based in Nashville, TN, and New Orleans, LA is seeking an experienced,
exceptionally organized, and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper for our family and two small dogs. This role demands a person who thrives in a highly structured and routine-driven environment. The ideal candidate must be capable of
maintaining a pristine, deeply organized household that operates seamlessly, down to the
finest detail, and care for delicate furniture. The housekeeper will be responsible for daily
cleaning/Organization, household management alongside assistants, some meal
preparation, and occasional childcare. Traveling for extended periods to the family’s other
home, working closely with other staff, and becoming familiar with the functionality of the
family is an essential aspects of the job.
The family is typically in Nashville from January to
September and at their second from September to January. This individual will provide
housekeeping for both properties. They will be responsible for providing their own housing
in Nashville and housing will be provided when in New Orleans. This schedule is subject to
change and the family will be settled in Nashville for the long term. The family follows a
meticulous routine, so the ability to adhere to and maintain this structure is critical. This
person must also know how to work in a high-traffic home. Parents often work from home
alongside assistants, and 6 kids are homeschooled.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: advanced cleaning & deep organization,
maintaining an immaculate household by performing thorough cleaning on a daily basis,
ensuring every room is pristine and organized, tackling deep cleaning tasks such as
baseboards, organizing storage spaces, cleaning behind appliances, and sanitizing high traffic areas regularly, implement and maintain detailed systems for organizing household items, clothing, toys, kitchen supplies, and personal items to maximize efficiency and
minimize clutter. ensure every aspect of the household follows a consistent routine—from morning till evening, routine adherence & household systems, follow and enforce the family’s set routine, managing daily tasks with precision and ensuring no detail is
overlooked, create and maintain household systems to streamline organization and ensure that every item has a designated place, laundry and keeping clothes for a large family organized, occasionally assist with meals for family events, dinners, and special occasions, ensuring exceptional presentation and service, clean the kitchen and dining areas thoroughly after meal preparation and maintain an organized kitchen at all times, occasionally assist with childcare, including supervising playtime, helping with homework,
and assisting with school preparations., keep children’s play areas, bedrooms, and common areas organized and clean, provide care for the family’s two small dogs, including feeding, walking, and ensuring their spaces are clean and well-maintained, manage household inventories, including groceries, cleaning supplies, and other essentials, ensuring they are restocked as needed, run errands, including
grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household needs, oversee the maintenance of household systems (e.g., HVAC, pool maintenance, cleaning schedules) to ensure the home runs smoothly, implement systems for streamlined efficiency in all areas of household management, anticipating family needs before they arise, assist with household preparations for guests, including cleaning, organizing, and meal setup.
