Looking to fill a full-time limited scope x-ray position for a busy family practice.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
Takes patient histories and vital signs.
Updates medical records using patient software.
Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
Gives injections and assists with lab testing and Phlebotomy.
Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
Assists with scheduling of tests, treatments, and referrals
X-ray and basic machine operation.
Performing drug screens
Education and Experience:
X-ray license required. New graduates welcome.
Experienced in the use of computer applications such as medical (EMR) software and associated peripheral equipment.
Knowledge of medical office operations.
Exceptional working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD- 10 codes.
Understanding of scheduling efficiency and patient flow in a medical practice.
