```Job Summary```
Leon’s Famous Deli is seeking line cooks Minimum 1 year experience with grilling, braising and/or smoking meats $16-$18/hr PLUS TIPS
```Duties```
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications with proficiency in proper health standards and food handling
- assemble sandwiches, fries, deli salads to order
- Monitor food stock levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- including but not limited to cleaning kitchen, dishes, equipment, trash removal, prep work
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment such as slicer, ovens, fryers, grill, flatop, and stoves safely
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
