Proper Bagel is looking for hard working and self motivated individuals to join our family owned and operated restaurant. Morning & afternoon shifts only, no nights! Competitive hourly compensation + tips! Minimum of 3 days / shifts are required.
Market / Deli Help - Basic knowledge of food prep and handling (preparing bagels & cream cheese / smoked salmon sandwiches and weigh-outs from the market / deli counter etc.) This candidate should be able to multi task, take direction and work well under pressure.
Server / Food Runner / POS - This candidate should be able to multi task, take direction and work well under pressure while running food and ringing up customers in a high volume / fast paced casual restaurant.
Weekend Barista Position. We use Crema coffee and a La Marzocco espresso machine. This candidate should have
2nd or 3rd wave coffee experience who's comfortable in a high volume work environment. Must be self-motivated and willing to work as a team of one while balancing communication with co-workers around them. Possessing the ability to dial in espresso, pull espresso shots and steam milk manually are a prerequisite. Knowledge of industry standards, ie. the coffee and equipment we use on a daily basis would be beneficial
