Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift

Location: Nashville, TN (2 days onsite per week)

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer.ResponsibilitiesAscension Saint Thomas seeks a Technical Operations Manager to deliver best in classconsumer and clinician experience through optimization of technical infrastructure andworkflows, ensuring system efficiency, security, and reliability. This individual contributor role isresponsible for face-to-face customer technology relationship management, collaborating withIT, clinical staff, and leadership to support patient care and organizational goals. This is anon-site position that requires local travel to locations across Middle Tennessee.Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships with internal and external partners.

Serve as a strategic advisor on technology decisions and governance councils.

Align technology with business objectives and drive operational improvements.

Manage technology intake, prioritization, and execution of initiatives.

Oversee technology roadmaps, executive reporting, and demand management.

Advise on technical assessments, sourcing, and project planning.

Represent business partners in technology governance meetings.

Provide face-to-face customer technology relationship management.

Business & Technical Acumen:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Make data-driven decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.

Identify inefficiencies and implement technology solutions.

Maintain high ethical standards and foster trust across teams.

Utilize software tools for analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Expertise in healthcare IT systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.

Understand Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodology, healthcare IT, and application integration.

RequirementsEducation:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

3+ years of Information Technology experience (5+ years and leadership experience preferred)

2+ years managing large projects (IT project experience preferred)

PMP or Six Sigma Certification (desired)
