DescriptionWe're looking for a System Development Engineer who is excited about the opportunity to be part of the tech team building infrastructure monitoring applications on AWS for internal Amazon customers.We're an agile development team, owning infrastructure monitoring for the OTIE organization and are actively developing new monitoring services for our worldwide operations.Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineering (OTIE) is the central organization supporting all Operational sites (e.g., Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, Sortation Centers) worldwide with IT infrastructure and corresponding services, e.g., monitoring or device management.The ideal candidate is passionate about software development and has a track record of leading design, implementation and operation of large-scale systems. They are keen about creating maintainable, high-quality software that is built and deployed through continuous delivery (CD). They care about the user experience and are confident in back-end initiatives. Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C, C#, Rust

Experience with Linux/Unix

Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems at scale
