DescriptionA leader in this role will get opportunity to work on Supply Chain Tech systems and will be responsible to map localized business processes to optimize E2E supply chain. As a Senior Supply Chain optimization manager within Canada Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to own E2E supply chain at the highest level for Amazon’s fulfillment business. You will have a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network and be an integral part in creating and implementing large scale strategic initiatives in Fulfillment optimization, Inbound Optimization, Inventory flow optimization and more – all with the goal of better serving our customers. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data-driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment.The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will work in a fast-paced, fluid environment and communicate business conditions and decisions effectively with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels – from warehouse associates to various Amazon Directors and VPs. In this role, Supply chain optimization Sr. Program Manager will seek out problems, dive deep into data, earn trust of partner teams, and deliver results that can have a large scale influence. This role is a blend of understanding supply chain tech systems and map business processes to optimize fulfillment, that requires quick decision-making, with incomplete data, while also thinking big and influencing the long term direction of the network. The end goal of this role is to answer the question of how we can fulfill more products to our customers in a safer, faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective manner.Key job responsibilities
Lead strategic initiatives related to network optimization within Amazon's various business units.
Concentrate on optimizing and managing the supply chain tech systems, information, or services within the supply chain network.
Balance supply and demand, assess and improve the efficiency of distribution networks, warehouses, or logistics operations.
Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency in network capacity.
Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network capacity situations.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network goals.
Manage cross-functional network capacity initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.
Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to network capacity, driving performance improvement and efficiency in project delivery.
Identify and deliver operational improvement opportunities in network capacity, focusing on E2E supply chain strategy
Monitor and optimize key network capacity metrics to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network.
About the teamThe CA Supply Chain team is responsible for End To End Supply Chain needs of Amazon Canada marketplace. This team owns and delivers the weekly Sales and Operations Planning, Network capacity/design plans, IB Supply Chain Planning and Execution, Mid-Term Planning, new Fulfillment center launches, retrofits, Inventory optimization, Planned decommissions, Supply Chain Strategies, and Quarterly Guidance Forecasts for CA network. In addition, this team is responsible to launch and maintain new supply chain optimization tech products developed by Amazon’s SCOT team. Canada Supply Chain acts as one stop shop for all supply chain related needs.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance or related fields
5+ years of forecasting, designing or modeling supply chain
3+ years of corporate program management experience
Stakeholder management, influencing and presenting to senior leadership
MS Excel: Intermediate. V-lookups and Pivot Tables at minimum
SQL/Programming Language: Basic – utilize to extract, manipulate and analyze data
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
2+ years of driving process improvements experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.
