We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Sr. Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to all compliance initiatives within the Customer Service Organization. The Sr. Compliance Manager coordinates implementation of corporate and regulatory compliance and compliance monitoring within the CSO; interprets policies and recommends policy changes to the Director. The Sr. Manager is responsible for leading their assigned team in a support role to CSO, continuously seeking to understand, meet and exceed customer needs and business objectives. The Sr. Compliance Manager will also act as a subject matter expert in assigned areas as well as an extension of the CSO Compliance Director. The Sr. Compliance Manager will perform follow up as needed as assigned by the ECO. This includes assisting with active ethics investigations, performing and oversight of monitoring, preventative mindset/actions in support of CSO operations.In this role you will:

Responsible for completing all related responsibilities as assigned by Director.

Assist specialists and managers with goals/objectives/projects. Ensures professional development goals are met if possible.

Read, summarize, and distribute key points from regulatory guidance and correspondence.

Maintain existing CSO Compliance materials and documentation.

Complete reporting as scheduled or requested.

Responsible for developing and implementing compliance monitoring systems and processes for CSO Compliance risk reduction.

Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with all customer service operational staff to proactively identify, record, and resolve operational and regulatory issues.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining, regular and meaningful, communication within each CSO department to ensure continuity of efforts, and to promote compliance initiatives (staff meetings, management meetings, conference calls, email, etc.).

Attend staff departmental staff meetings as needed to provide updates and field questions.

Develop compliance training materials in collaboration with external departments as needed.

Provide or participate in training as appropriate in collaboration with HR and operational teams.

Responsible for utilizing, and coordinating operations with, other organizational resources such as the Government Operations Support, SSCs, Parallon Management, HCA Ethics and Compliance, IT&S and Internal Audit departments.

Field initial compliance audit related inquiries from facilities, SSC, corporate, or others.

Responsible for communicating issues/progress to the Compliance Director in a timely manner.

Assist Controller and Director of Compliance with yearly Internal Audit review process.

Act as the CSO Privacy Officer Designee.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Health-Related Field preferred.

Work experience of 5 years or more in health care compliance may substitute for degree.

Minimum 5 years of compliance and/or internal audit experience in a health care setting required

Minimum 3 years management level experience preferably as a Business Office Director or comparable receivables management

Certified in Healthcare Compliance, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Credit/Collections Compliance Officer or other compliance related certification preferred.
