The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail. This role requires excellent organization, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining accountability and working to tight deadlines. We are looking for someone to become a subject matter expert in Lyft Media advertising billing operations; ensuring customer invoices are sent quickly and accurately through a variety of methods and requirements. Work across teams on the execution of strategic initiatives to address critical business issues or opportunities. Partner with our Business Development team to research and respond to customer billing inquiries. This role will be the primary escalation point for all Lyft Media billing. Ownership of financial audits and other ad-hoc accounting projects related to the ads area of our business. Partner with Lyft Media engineering and Financial Systems teams to set up new billing processes for our expanding Media product catalog. Own monthly/quarterly close, reporting, and reconciliation processes.Responsibilities:

This role will be the primary escalation point for all Lyft Media billing
Ownership of financial audits and other ad-hoc accounting projects related to the ads area of our business
Partner with Lyft Media engineering and Financial Systems teams to set up new billing processes for our expanding Lyft Media product
Collaborate with Cash App Specialist to reconcile accounts
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of AR/Billing experience in a similar high-growth environment
Experience with
Oracle GL Accounting system experience (or similar ERP)
Experience managing high volumes of multiple billing types including usage-based and revenue deferrals
Billing for international entities
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills (lookup functions, pivot tables, etc.) and experience working with large amounts of data
Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail a must
Must be a self-starter and team player who is excited to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Familiarity with G-Suite
Demonstrated ability of time management skills with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
