Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer for a role near Nashville, TN. T he ideal candidate will have a strong experience in manufacturing or plant operations, coupled with extensive experience in project management and implementing plant initiatives This is a full-time position that will be working on capital projects and current production.Responsibility:· Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.· Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality within the plant.· Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of plant equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.· Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects and plant operations comply with safety regulations and standards.· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to support plant initiatives and resolve operational issues.· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project plans, progress, and outcomes, and prepare detailed reports for management.· Training and Development: Provide training and support to plant personnel on new processes and equipment.Qualifications:· Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant engineering role, with a proven track record in project management.· Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.· Experience with continuous improvement activities· Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.CompensationThis role will start as a contract and work several hours of overtime per week, compensated at a 1.5x rate for any hours over 40Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $45.67/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
