Payroll & Benefits Director

Description Our client in Nashville, TN, is looking for an interim Payroll Manager to join their team for a few months on a temporary basis. This primarily ONSITE (hybrid) role is essential in the area of payroll management. You will be tasked with overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a team of five. Key responsibilities: Oversee and manage payroll operations for a large group of employees Ensure all payroll activities are compliant with regulations and laws Work closely with the benefits director and contribute to implementing new benefits plans Lead a team of five, fostering a positive and productive work environment Work on a project with ADP to stabilize ADP Vantage Restructure pay groups to enhance efficiency Handle weekly and bi-weekly payroll for different groups of employees Confirm accuracy of payroll before it is processed Collaborate with the new broker, One Digital, to select the right carrier and vendorRequirements Experience with ADP - Payroll and ADP Workforce Now (ADP Vantage preferred) Proficiency in Benefits Administration and Payroll Compliance Knowledge of Payroll Law and Management Ability to handle Full Cycle Payroll and Bi-Monthly Payroll Experience with Multistate Payroll and Weekly Payroll Familiarity with 401k - Administration and Benefit FunctionsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
