Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated material handler responsible for measuring and moving materials to support CNC operators and ensure correct metal specifications. The role involves receiving orders, accurate tape measure use, and operating a side loader.Responsibilities
Measure metal and materials to ensure accuracy using a tape measure.
Receive orders from leads and supervisors for customers.
Move materials to CNC operators for cutting.
Operate a side loader.
Work as a team to safely move and store materials.
Perform heavy lifting, lifting 45-50 pounds.
Perform quality checks on finished products.
Rig metal for shipping on flatbed trucks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure.
Experience with overhead crane operation.
Experience in shipping and receiving.
Material handling skills.
Ability to work safely in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Forklift is a plus.
Previous experience in warehouse, production, construction, or steel industries is a plus.
