Manager Medicare Advantage Provider Engagement

Job Responsibilities

Hire, develop, motivate, and coach a staff that will educate and execute the strategy and vision related to provider engagement

Oversee functions related to MA provider education, engagement and staff developing educational collateral to support the quality program.

Implement strategy for HEDIS/STARS supplemental data collection and oversees staff associated with this effort.

Perform forecasting, analyzing current performance through the creation and monitoring of quality metrics, and conducting prospective and ongoing analysis of programs and supplemental data collection effectiveness.

Collaborate with specialists to identify and implement alternative payment models aimed at cost control and quality improvement.

Job QualificationsEducation

Bachelors Degree in a Health Related Discipline (Nursing, Dietetics, Exercise Science, Counseling, Social work, or Health Education)or Business Related Discipline

Experience

3 years - Experience in a leadership/management role required

5 years - Experience in the Health Insurance Industry

2 years - Experience with Medicare Advantage products

SkillsCertifications

Demonstrated ability to effectively work with senior leadership teams

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Capacity to solve problems and manage multiple assignments with critical deadlines

Effective time management skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proven decision making and problem solving skills

Effective and concise presentation skills
