Provide support in various Treasury activities including debt management, debt documentation, cost of funds analysis, debt forecasting, intercompany loans, foreign exchange management, cash management and operations, and other related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain various spreadsheets required to monitor daily incoming and outgoing cash including the maturity schedule of debt and interest rate derivatives, daily funding requests from line units and overall daily cash needs. Spreadsheets are also used to monitor the match-funding positions of CFSC portfolios at both the subsidiary and consolidated level.

Analyze payment requests and processes payments of fees related to commercial bank lines of credit, revolving credit agreements, debt registrations, trustee agreements, rating agency services, intercompany agreements and other agreements as delegated by Treasury Management.

Provides necessary documentation to banks, investment banks, trustees, legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and other parties as required, to properly satisfy the contractual and punctuality requirements associated with debt and interest rate derivative agreements, etc.

Prepare reports on the corporation's funding activities for rating agencies, trustees, investor roadshows and other interested parties.

Coordinate the execution and monitoring of new and administer existing intercompany loans and indexed debt agreements for various subsidiaries.

Assist with or lead special ad hoc projects including Bank and Rating Agency presentations, internal or external audit requests, and other process improvement projects, as needed.

Support cash operations including, but not limited to, daily funding, remediation and recommendations for any failed payments, research for internal customers’ inquiries, policy and SOX compliance, and coordination with other business units.

Participate in bank account management processes, reporting, documentation requirements, and associated projects.

Assists in providing effective back up support to other Treasury department employees.

May monitor daily cash balances and account activity requirements to make strategic investment recommendations and to manage counterparty risk.

Job Requirements:

Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Demonstrate effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.

Provide a strong ability to implement decision-making process and associated tools and techniques to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Clear understanding of the tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data to practice

Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.

Strong ability to to utilise tools, and techniques used for analyzing market risk to assess and manage investment exposures to market risk.

implement the use of tools and approaches of financial analysis to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Provide strong relationship management techniques to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Degree Requirement:

A 4-year college or university degree in finance or related discipline.

Desirable Experience:

Prior working experience in Banking, Treasury or Accounting.

Additional Information:

This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a minimum of 3 day per week in office requirement.
