Patient Care Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Patient Care Pharmacy Technician will be PTCB or ASHP certified in the State of Tennessee. This position is centered around patient care and communication. End users are IV patients and specialty medication. No patients come to the pharmacy location directly.Responsibilities
Conduct assessment calls with patients over the phone.
Assist with lab-related queries and tasks.
Answer patient questions and update prescription information.
Perform data entry and order processing.
Provide pharmacy support and customer service.
Essential Skills
PTCB certification
State of Tennessee pharmacy license
Experience in pharmacy tech roles
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in data entry and computer skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with home infusion
Compounding experience is a plus
Must obtain pharmacy license within 90 days of hire
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday with potential for extended hours due to current volume.
Flexible and staggered shifts are available.
Rotating on-call duty once a month.
This is a closed-door pharmacy with no direct patient interactions. T
he facility is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, emphasizing a strong work-life balance.
