The lodge features 84 guest rooms, the Little Gem Restaurant, cabins, an indoor water park, and over 6,000 square feet of banquet/conference space. Role Overview: The Aquatics Manager will serve as the leader of our department and is responsible for the activities and growth of the Aquatics program including financial management, hiring, training and supervising team members, according to Indiana State Park standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. They will lead a team in a fun and fast-paced environment, who proudly serve our guests. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $20.63 per hour. A Day in the Life: Manage and support all aquatics team members Perform routine maintenance of pool, locker rooms, and surrounding areas Complete daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe Perform daily chemical testing and other necessary functions Facilitate lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques during monthly meetings Assess performance, provide feedback, and coach aquatics team members as needed Manage the aquatics department within the budget guidelines Formulate, monitor, and reconcile the budget and financial reports for the aquatics department Set the standard for the aquatics department by providing exceptional customer service and meeting the guest’s needs and expectations Maintain emergency readiness and be ready to respond to emergency situations and provide emergency assistance and care/treatment as trained until the arrival of emergency medical services Complete incident and accident reports as necessary and in a timely manner Develop rapport and maintain effective relationships with guests and co-workers Maintain accurate records as requiredWhat You'll Need for Success:

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Skilled in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

CPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hire.

Complete projects and /or reports in accurate and timely manner.

Reliable and punctual.

Professional appearance and attitude.

Ability to work as a team member.
