Description:The Project Manager will be responsible for oversight of the entire project process from quote stage throughout the build process, while being the main point of contact for the customer. Through the process, duties will include quoting projects, procurement team coordination, document management, project design and coordinating production and shipping schedule with the Prefab Shop Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer/Contractor point of contact Construction plan reading (all disciplines) Construction specification understanding and interpretation Construction project schedule understanding NEC and local electrical code knowledge and interpretation Electrical material knowledge and identification Coordination with procurement/shipping team (material quantities, required dates, shipping information) Document management and procurement (plans, specifications, schedules, submittals) Document updates (slip sheeting, RFI posting) Ability to identify RFI’s and form into understandable question with all pertinent information included Full project design: assembly, component identification and raceway routing Electrical single line knowledge Utilization of Bluebeam Revu for design/takeoff AutoCAD use for final design drawings Prefab shop project coordination Coordinate of Design team and CAD operators as needed Project production schedule coordination Project estimatesEXPERIENCE, EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Electrical trade school completion preferred, but not required. Extensive knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and materials, specific to the electrical industry required. Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial electrical construction. Experience running projects in a foreman/management capacity preferred. Prior experience with prefabrication preferred, but not required.
