Skilled Farm Equipment Operator

Twin Lakes Farm II is currently looking for someone to hire full time. We are looking for someone who is very hard working, self-motivated, diligent, a quick learner and gets along well with others. Prior experience on tractors and combines isn't a must, but it would be nice. As farmers, everyone on the team is required to be well rounded in many areas. Here are a few just to give an idea of what you COULD be doing: planting, running ditches, pulling levees, emptying grain bins, watering crops, driving 18 wheelers from field to grain bins, fixing pivots, driving a grain cart, operating a track hoe and the list goes on and on. Farming has become increasingly "techy" over the last few years, so understanding things from simple task on your phone to get you to the correct location in a field to navigating the screens on tractors are essential. The art of farming seems to be going out of style. Most farming operations now are having to hire employees from South Africa and we are no different as we have a great crew from SA on our farm. I'm trying my best to find some local help to join our team and make us great. Look forward to hearing from you!
