Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance on lift trucks. This role involves managing the maintenance shop, ensuring proper inventory levels, and maintaining a safe, organized environment in compliance with OSHA standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to assess repair options, complete service records accurately, and handle various tasks as assigned.
Key Job Responsibilities:
-Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, along with preventive maintenance on lift trucks.
-Oversee the maintenance and organization of the maintenance shop, equipment, and tools; ensure proper inventory levels for materials, parts, and service supplies.
-Assess the costs and benefits of repair to determine the best course of action; research potential warranty coverage by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
-Complete work orders and service records in a timely and accurate manner.
-Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with OSHA and Company standards.
-Process all required paperwork after work completion.
-Confidently read and execute maintenance and repair tasks based off technical manuals.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years of forklift preventative maintenance and repair experience required; preference for experience with Linde forklifts.
-Minimum 2 years of welding experience required.
-Proficient in servicing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as internal combustion engines.
-Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
-Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
-Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a focus on efficiency and satisfaction.
-Capable of fostering a positive work environment and building relationships between all co-workers.
-High school diploma or GED required.
