Summary: This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone’s security hardware, software and/or security systems. Primary responsibilities include program management of the Vulnerability Program, to include tracking threats and vulnerabilities, assessing risk, system lifecycle management, vulnerability scanning and identification, and driving system upgrades and modernization. This also includes teaching domain expertise, providing technical guidance and mentoring, supporting the customers, resolving problems, and training as required. Responsibilities: Participate in any and potentially all roles of the security systems development life cycle. Roles may vary by project and assignment. This may include, but not limited to: Responsible for technical design and administration of security controls, services, and architecture, e.g. infrastructure and / or network systems, application security tools and processes, identity and access management technologies, and /or incident response functions.
Identify security concerns and mitigating controls; identify, document, and manage risks to AutoZone data, systems, and processes.
Accurate work planning and execution; accurate project and time tracking.
Teaching, coaching, and technical mentoring security subject matter expertise to less senior security analysts and engineers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Typically requires eight to fifteen years’ security and / or cyber risk management experience in a mid- to large-enterprise environment
Advanced task estimation, planning and execution skills
Advanced problem solving, domain technical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and project management skills
Advanced system design and implementation skills
Advanced knowledge of more than one of the following functional areas:
Infrastructure and Network security, e.g. experience with Checkpoint firewalls, experience with Web gateway proxies, Active Directory security controls, etc.
Windows or Linux server administration
Vulnerability Management Program implementation and operations
Formal Risk Management experience
Understanding of, and experience with, scripting or coding languages preferred
Security credentials such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
