Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will be part of our Service industry team, handling a variety of tasks such as maintaining accurate customer records, processing applications, and resolving inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Handle and process customer credit applications in an efficient manner Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Manage month-end journal entries and recons Oversee accounts payable and potentially payroll Be responsible for preparing commissions for salespeople, considering splits and percentages for the inside team Ensure confidentiality in all tasks and information handled Willingness to take on any additional tasks as required Utilize skills in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management, and Accounts Receivable (AR) during Month End Close Requirements Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role within the service industry Strong expertise in Corporate Treasury functions Proficient in Cash Management procedures and strategies Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Month End Close tasks with accuracy and efficiency Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting principles.
